At the little square of Vamos village we invite you for a visit to the local kafeneion to enjoy the taste of the traditional Greek coffee! Visit family-run companies and meet the local producers.

At the Folklore Museum, a collection of old tools, ceramics and clothes in the original environment of an old 2-storey village house can be found, noticing that the Cretan life in its origin seems to be so simple and back to basic! At the family-run olive-oil factory you will experience and learn all ins and outs about the modern production and use of Cretan virgin olive-oil!

We say “Aspro Pato” and “Yamas” to make a toast to your health with the famous Cretan spirit, the “national” drink of the island, the Raki or Tsikoudia, the symbol of Crete and friendship! To top it all off, a visit to the Winery and a tour tasting of their delicious wines, is indeed included!
