The Botanical Park is a great area of impressive natural beauty, covering almost 20 hectares, a well-designed planted hillside at the foot of the White Mountains.
The park’s colourful landscape is composed of local flora and fauna and (sub) tropical species from all over the world, divided into different sections.
During this tour we offer a special program starting off with a presentation about the Cretan diet and spices and herbs found in the park and used for flavouring, followed by a 1 to 2 hour walk in the park to enjoy Cretan nature, the lush natural environment and a break at one of the available rest points.
Finally your taste will be tickled with a typical Cretan lunch prepared with fresh ingredients from the garden! Kali Orexi!
